Old Fire Station, Winter Open

"Dancing to my death” Hand-blown glass oil lamps, and Lepidoptera. This photograph visualises the idea of self-destructive madness and obsession often exhibited by heroes of early romantic epics, who couldn’t be cured of their lovesickness. The Museum of Natural History, Islamabad, very kindly allowed me to use their archived collection of Lepidoptera (Moths) for this.
