I am a multidisciplinary artist with a master’s degree in the History of Art from the University of Oxford. My practice moves between photography and painting, tracing the emotional topographies that emerge between people and the material worlds they inhabit.
I am a multi-disciplinary artist working at the intersection of Photography, painting, design and material culture. I think with textures and colours, and am drawn to beautiful materials and the quiet presence of everyday objects and the meanings they accumulate over time. My practice is guided by an experimentation and intuitive exploration allowing chance discoveries to sit alongside more considered works.
Through documentary and still life photography, I explore themes of war, identity, belonging, displacement, home, and nostalgia. My work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art Lahore, and I was runner-up for the Wolfson College, Oxford Inaugural Art Prize.
This website brings together my art practice, research, and creative projects rooted in material culture and shared human experience.
This website brings together the many strands of my practice: a studio, a workshop, and a cabinet of curiosities where finished pieces, studies, and exploratory projects coexist. Here, you’ll find carefully made objects, thoughtful images, and material stories that invite close looking and reflection.
If you are drawn to detail, craftsmanship, this space offers a window into a practice rooted in curiosity, and the pleasure of seeing and making of everyday beauty.
